Low price, easy to use and the diversity of additives proposed make them very attractive for pig breeders. Since severalyears, ITP achieved studies concerning additive’s efficiency concerning odour emissions in pig units. The following onewas realized in commercial plant on growing-finishing rooms. Comparison between reference and treated room showsa reduction of 30 % odour emission for the treated room with variability between measurements.
