The inspection of end products is intended to provide official reference values for growth, carcass and meat quality performance of end products derived from different combinations of genetic types of parent sows and boars, produced by certified pig breeding organisations. This twenty-fifth test shows differences among the seven genetic types of end products assessed. Growth criteria and especially carcass criteria significantly differentiate the genetic types. By contrast, the meat quality characteristics did not reveal any noteworthy significant variations.
