Control of cleaning and disinfecting operations thus requires a sound and methodical approach. No single step can be overlooked because each step influences the following one. The motivation of the personnel carrying out the operations, allowance for the specific characteristics of each farm and knowledge of good practice (e.g., calculation of and compliance with the quantities of agents required per shed) are among the prerequisites for successful cleaning-disinfecting.
