The influence of vitamin level in lactation diet on lactation performance was studied in two experimental stations. On the 108th day of gestation, sows were allocated to one of the two studied treatment. Vitamin contents in diet TEMOIN resulted from a compromise between various available recommended supplies and practical use. In diet ESSAI, vitamin K, E, and from group B were 1.4 to 4.2 higher. Litter size at weaning was similar in both stations. Dietary vitamin content did not influence significantly litter’s growth rate, sow’s feed intake, body reserves mobilization, or weaning to estrus interval which indicated that vitamin level in diet TEMOIN was high enough to meet requirements during lactation.
