Multicriteria performance of fattening pigs assessed with the bioclimatic model ThermiPig

The ThermiPig model was created by combining a growth model (InraPorc) and a bioclimatic model (ThermiSim). Ambient temperature is simulated with a good precision when the system is precisely characterised (room, type of pig, feeding strategy…) The model can be used to compare technical options based on the different components of the whole performance: technic / environment / energy cost / economic cost.
