Hypothermia is one of the leading causes of mortality in newborn piglets. Desiccants are among the most used solutions to dry piglets at birth. Eucalyphus essential oils are known for their warning properties. Objective: To assess the impact of an eucalyptus essential oil-based desiccant on the prevention neonatal hypothermia.
