Point of view: EU, French livestock farmers’ margins to rise in 2022

The margin on feed costs varies on a monthly basis according to feed prices and prices received by farmers. Between 2021 and 2022, feed prices rose sharply in all countries considered (+37% on average), due to the raw materials crisis, exacerbated by the war in Ukraine.
